Trauma comes in many forms commonly referred to as “Big T and little t” trauma(s) . Together we can discuss your life experiences and if any such traumas have impacted you.
We can explore how you relate with the world around you after such experiences. Next, it might be helpful to process through some of the highlighted traumas uncovered during our time together. From there, our next step is to determine if traditional talk therapy or EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) would be more helpful.

- Unexplained physiological/emotional/relational symptoms
Types of Trauma Treated
I have worked with survivors of one time events along with folks that have endured complex trauma spanning a more prolonged period of time. Some examples of trauma include:
Sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional abuse, combat experience, divorce, life transitions, car accidents, suicide survivor, etc.
The most commonly known diagnosis associated with trauma is PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) however, there is so much more to know about how to treat it aside from the term.
You deserve the chance to quiet the trauma and regain control of your life.

While I cannot promise every piece of your trauma will magically disappear, I can help you learn to use what happened to you become a survivor in place of a victim.
